About the Riad
Looking for a luxury riad in Marrakech? Well, look no more.
Riad el Zohar offers everything you need for a truly unforgettable stay in the city. Located only a five minute walk from the city’s most popular attractions, the stunning 18th century courtyard house is based within the popular Mouassine district, at the very heart of the ancient Medina.
Close to Jemna el Fna Square and the famous souks, the riad retains a calm, relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the streets, its thick walls creating an internal oasis of tranquillity. It truly might be the most luxurious riad that Marrakech has to offer.
Featuring the authentic layout of a traditional Moroccan riad, the building surrounds a charming outdoor space which features its very own swimming pool. Guests are welcome to take a dip any time they like. After all, we understand just how hot Marrakech can get, so it’s important for our guests to be able to relax and cool down after a day exploring the city.
It’s also important for guests to have fantastic food available, which our riad can offer in abundance. Undoubtedly one of the most scenic places to eat in the city, you get to choose between enjoying our sumptuous Moroccan cuisine in either of our two saloons. Or, for a truly unique experience, on top of our beautiful roof terrace, which offers scintillating views across the historic Medina.
However, if the views prove too enticing and make you want to dive right back into the heart of the city, we don’t blame you – our luxury riad is located at the centre of the Medina, meaning you are in the perfect place to get out and explore. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are also more than happy to provide any help or assistance to make your stay with us as memorable as possible. Whether you’re looking for cookery lessons, advice on local attractions or alternative places to eat, the dedicated team will be there for you whenever you need.
Our accommodation has been sympathetically restored into a boutique hotel in Marrakech. Featuring a four-sided balcony which looks down on the central courtyard, you will be able to look down on the stunning plunge pool, which was designed with guests in mind. We wanted to provide a space for those staying in the riad to keep out of the heat. Pools are not a typical feature of riads in Marrakech so be sure to take advantage of our facilities during your stay.
